
The University of Mount Union will host the fifth
annual “Not Another Statistic Conference” on November 16 and 17.
The conference, sponsored by the University’s Office of Diversity and
Inclusion and hosted by the Mount Union Student Diversity Council, is
an opportunity for college students from across the state to come
together and explore diversity on college campuses from a wide variety
of perspectives. This year’s theme is “Imagine if…” and topics will
include autism, human trafficking, impact of language, religious life
and LGBT issues, international student experience and reality TV.
The Student Diversity Council includes the Association of
International Students, Association of Women Students, Black Student
Union, Gay Straight Alliance, Hispanic Organization Latino America,
Spiritual Life Leadership and See The Ability Not Disability.
Registration is due by Friday, November 9, and the conference fee is
$35 per person including meals. Mount Union students may attend the
event for free with no meals provided. To register and see a schedule,

a discounted rate of $89.99 per night. Accessible rooms are available.
